Deborah Burian

Artist Statement

Deborah Burian creates evocative textural works inspired by nature and by public lands. She is an award-winning painter whose work has been exhibited in many national and regional shows, including the prestigious national Watercolor USA. Recently, Burian served as the Artist in Residence at Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks National Monument, working with visitors and volunteers to create the large-scale work “Monumental” which is permanently installed at the A.B.
